About Roger!
Roger Sichel is a celebrated photographer, photojournalist, digital/AI artist, and cultural observer. Renowned for capturing the iconic Woodstock moments of the 1960s and 1970s, his bold images of the era’s counterculture—drugs, sex, and rock and roll—remain timeless. His work is featured in The Lunar Museum on SpaceX, Momentum, NASA, and on the SpaceX Falcon 9, as well as in Intuitive Machines’ Mission 24.
Sichel’s art has graced prestigious events such as Coachella, Bit Basel, and Live Nation Influencer Houses, which collectively reach millions worldwide. His pieces are exhibited in prominent venues like The Glass House Hamptons, The Maidstone Inn Hotel, TFA Galleries in New York and Miami, and private collections throughout the Hamptons and Manhattan, including Hudson Yards. His work has also been featured in renowned publications like Playboy, Rock Magazine, Time, Yahoo News, and the New York Post.
Over the years, Roger has collaborated with legends such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol, Gore Vidal, and Milos Forman. He also produced nationwide tours for The Doors, Four Seasons, and Isaac Hayes.
After taking a brief hiatus in the 90s and early 2000s to explore film, university lecturing, and creating the tech innovation Autocorrect, Sichel is now in the midst of an exciting new chapter in his artistic career. His neo-pop mixed media digital art reflects his life experiences and current events, while preserving the essence of his enduring legacy. In 2023, he conceived and produced the highly successful ARTACOM.
Looking ahead, Sichel is preparing to unveil his “celebrity series” of international personalities at Art Basel and at a special fundraiser on December 8, 2024, benefiting “A Safe Haven for Newborns” at The Mar-a-Lago Club. The exhibition will continue at a prominent Palm Beach gallery and private mega-mansion, showcasing his ever-evolving artistic vision.
